KACC is a commercial free community college station here in Alvin. If you've sold your soul to rock n roll as I have, then just go to 89.7 on the radio dial to listen to some surprising tunes. It's the only station in the Houston area that will play obscure rock classics. Last night they played a mix of The Jam, early David Bowie, Judas Priest, and some local bands. There is no arty stuff here and everything is pretty guitar-centric. They also have a web station if you click the link above.
